06/06 @ Genoa /Italy - Porto Antigo & City view

Cathedral of St. Lorenzo

Just wandering the streets.
Narrow streets with bridges between buildings can be seen many times
perhaps due to highly populated street and also time before elevator invention.
It is only just my guess.

My Italian friend Roberto accompanied with me and said these columns and statues on building facade etc are not local remains,

Around 12o'clock arrived at Porto Antico di Genova

Bigo, designed by Renzo Piano (2001),
along with Huge harbor redevelopment project

Plenty number of frescos building facades.

Biosphere, also by Renzo Piano on the left

Initial concept of Biosphere

Palazzo della Meridiana

Some Roman remains in some cafe's backyard

City Hall (Comune di Genova)

Cattaneo Adorno Palace

Galleria Giseppe Gribaldi, the tunnel underneath the terrace garden
There is a view point above it

Genoa is very highly densed city,
and is full of old apartments and this tells how the city was once flourished.

A monument of Christopher Columbus, in front of Principe station

Principe Station, another major railway station in Genoa
