06/20 @ Vienna /Austria - Walking from Volkstheater to Schwedenplatz

Had a lunch at Westbanhof again, then got off at Volkstheater station

A statues of Archduke of Charles at Heldenplatz

Austrian National Library

(beyond this building, memorial of Mozart is placed in Burggarten)

Kunsthistorisches Museum

Museum of Natural History of Vienna

A statue of Maria Theresa,
the most beautiful queen in 18th century.
She was powerful queen of Habsburg who was a successor of Charles V,
built powerful Austrian Empire, ruled from part of Western to Eastern Europe (and including Holy Roman Empire).  Well.. she never been an emperor but as regent for husband Francis but they were good couple and their love story is famous.
She is respected by many Austrians and she is like a Queen Elizabeth in UK version in Austria.

Volkstheater

Architecture museum at Museum Quartier

They are non-profit organization, promoting improvement of life quality by new methods of architecture with using environment friendly materials and its local.

8 Euros entrance fee for Austrian architecture history

Parliament of Austria

Rathaus (Vienna City Hall)
Far from its name, no public access to this building lol
there wasn't even huge constructions in front or in its platz.

Votive Cathedral (Katholisches Pfarramt Votivkirche)
Made out of hard sandstones, completed in 1879, took 23 years.

Sigmund Freud Park
(I am far away from phycology but everyone learns his name in sociology and phycology class.
I couldn't find Freud's statue of any of his relics or traces)

Schottentor station

intersection of Universitatstrasse + Schottengasse

Walked along Schottenring then dinner at somewhere near riverbank.  I just went in any restaurant where turned on World Cup.  It was local restaurant, server and food sucks, very unfriendly typical Austrian but became so polite after giving out 20 percent of food for tip.
I went back to hostel, got on the train at Schwedenplatz
